BEFORE you login for the first time, you must prepare your computer by doing the following 3 steps:

1. Download the most recent version of Java at http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
   
2. Adjust the pop-up blocker settings in your internet browser to allow the SkillPort website: www.skillport.com
   
   If you use Internet Explorer:
   
• Go to Tools > Pop-Up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings
  
• Add www.skillport.com to the allowed websites. 

If you are using another web browser, be sure turn of your Pop-up Blocker.

1. IMPORTANT! This step checks for correct computer setup:
   
• Run a Browser Check: http://browser.skillport.com/bh/default.asp
  
• If the browser check fails, go to: http://support.skillsoft.com/customer/SPJava.htm.
  Follow the instructions to optimize your browser for course access.

Once you have set up your computer, you may login to your online courses.

1. Click on the Login to Courses button in the menu to the left
2. You will be re-directed to SkillPort
3. Enter the User ID and Password you received in your Welcome Letter from CES
4. Click Log In
